This one goes out to my boy Josh Wigler, a badass reporter and workhorse for CBR who is up to his ears in San Diego Comic-Con prep work right now.
I was messing around with Adobe Illustrator for the first time (ever!) on this one, so please forgive its kindergarten-esque nature. This one was more about getting it out than making it look perfect, and practicing a bit on Ai to boot. Anywho, no matter who you are out there, be it fanboy or fangirl, I hope your hearts go out to the hardworking men and women of the press whose lives have been completely overrun by SDCC for the past week, and will be enslaved to that Con for at least a week more. Godspeed, my brethren!
Hey, you draw a good Josh. He does wear his hat like that!
He totally does when he is frazzled from working way too much! That is now fact, as evidenced by comic strip—the greatest kind of fact there is!
You really captured the essence of my lack of head and hand!
Why, thank you, kind sir! Good luck with your piles upon piles of work!
Well done Jim, though, I’m not sure if you’re aware of this or not, but you don’t have a beard anymore.
TJ,
There are certain subtle differences between myself and my cartoon persona. Currently, one of those is my beard.
Screw that, I would love to go to SDCC and write about it!
Nice job on AI, especially for your first go at it!
