Much like a Facebook for crumb catchers, Movember has added a networking feature to its Web site this year. Basically a way for like-minded mo-growers to band together, Movember’s networks can be used to group people by height, weight, geographical location or a penchant for ponies—just so long as you ask them to make a network page for your social group of choice.

Free Movember business cards!
While poking around the Movember Web site last night, I discovered that Movember has teamed with Moo.com to offer Mo Bros and Mo Sistas 50 free business cards to help spread the word about their fund-raising efforts. You’ll need to pay $5.50 to have the cards shipped, but that’s a steal!

Mo swag!
Last year, I joined the Movember campaign because it seemed like a fun way to get involved and make a difference in the fight against cancer. Grow a mustache to raise money for education and research about men’s health issues? That’s my kind of charity!
It’s an amazing cause, but one of the main reasons I’m back this year is because the folks who crew the Movember campaign have been generous, kind, helpful and extremely involved. Grassroots gone global, if you will. I blogged about my first foray into Movember madness last year and received a personal message and box of fund-raising goodies from Movember CEO Adam Garone. This year, Andy Leonetti from Movember’s LA offices got in touch, gave me loads of encouragement about ramping up Movember efforts in a new city and then sent me a box full of excellent bits of swag!

A la commode
My brother Dan works at a medical supply company and, after the Makin’ Bacon Naked t-shirt I made for him, he wondered if I could whip up a design for his company volleyball team. I came up with a few ideas, but the below test image was definitely my favorite. Unfortunately, we never ended up getting the shirts made (time constraints, I believe), but I enjoy this image and I figured I’d post it up here on EoP.

Mustache Hodgepodge
It’d be easy to assume that my enthusiasm for mustaches in the lead up to Movember is reaching unhealthy levels based on the amount I’ve been blogging and talking about the fundraiser, but thankfully it’s impossible to be “too excited” about mustaches. That’s pure science fact! Ask a scientist, they’ll absolutely verify that… with data!
Anywho, that’s my lame intro to a hodgepodge post for housing some assorted ‘stache-savvy links. Let’s get to it…
