Hodgepodge: A post of assorted random stuffs.

Hey there, folks!
If you’re a regular ’round these parts, you’ll notice that this week has been particularly light on the blogging.

Sorry about that.

After last weekend’s crazy-busy vacation, this week has been chock-full of tons of work and other life stuff all piled on top of me seriously needing to catch up on sleep. Finally, at week’s end, I’ve got all aspects sorted, but haven’t had too much chance to cobble together anything by way of this blog. So, for funsies, I figured I would just toss together a bunch of random little things for a hodgepodge entry. I hope you all enjoy it!

EoP appears on the Panels On Pages Awful Snack PoPcast

Last night, I spent two hours on the phone with four other nerds (Yep! I, too, am a nerd!) and talked about comics, comic book conventions and more. What made this different from any normal nerd conversation that I have off hours from work is that it was recorded as the 12th episode of the Panels on Pages Awful Snack PoPcast: The podcast of the fantastic “all things geek” Web site! The Official Enemy of Peanuts T-Shirt: Pencil work.

After opening my Awesome Online Shop with the outrageously cool Makin’ Bacon Naked t-shirt, I vowed an official Enemy of Peanuts t-shirt was on its way. Well, I did the initial pencil work on my first tentative design last week and have finally found some time now between busy work days and busy vacation days to post it for viewing.

Frog splashed by Luchador wine!

While I’m a big beer fan who will claim a degree of expertise over hoptastic refreshments, my mastery over my wine palate is far less impressive. In fact, as long as a wine is pleasing enough to be consumed without blanching in occasional glasses or in mass quantity during my yearly Ides of March celebration—drinking loads of red wine to commemorate Roman culture on the anniversary of Julius Caesar’s death—then it’s a fine wine by me. However, my penchant for all things lucha libre-related required me to purchase and crack open a bottle of Luchador shiraz simply due to its high-flying, top rope wrestling theme.

I got this sent to me today through the WUMB and I am not only super excited about it, but also extremely flattered and humbled as well! A massively huge and enormously gigantic thanks to Larry Joe (aka KrpyKrwly) for delivering Enemy of Peanuts: The Webcomic‘s first ever fan art submission!

Ice Cream: A battleground for Man vs. Peanut!

A few weeks ago while in Vermont, I got to visit the magical and tasty Ben & Jerry’s factory in Waterbury. However, while Ben & Jerry’s is my ice cream of choice, their penchant for adding swirls and chunks of candies and fruit to create their many eclectic flavors make partaking in their cups and cones as dangerous as it can be delightful.

Ben & Jerry's powerfully delicious flavors hit you like a colorfully painted bus!
