If you’ve been frequenting this blog, you know that come November I’ll be growing a moustache for a charity called the Movember Campaign. The funds of the Movember Campaign go towards helping raise awareness of men’s health, specifically prostate and testicular cancer—a great cause. If that’s all you need to hear to donate, please head here and do so—it’s very much appreciated! If you’d like a bit more info typed up in lovely Jim Gibbons prose, head here and here. However, I’d remiss if I didn’t take advantage of the hard work put into the Movember Campaign by their PR and Marketing teams, and so, I’m posting a bunch of videos I’ve been sent by the good folks at Movember in hopes you’ll enjoy them and decide to donate a little cash to the cause.

All Day Pizza Buffet: Enemy of Peanuts Doodles
I got pretty excited about the EoP fan art I just received in the mail and had some new pens to try out. So while I scanned in the fan art, I doodled up some images of the character that shares this blog’s namesake.

I’m Movember official! And YOU can donate now!
Hey folks! After two posts contemplating and then deciding that I’d be participating in Movember this year, I have officially registered. That’s right, I’m now prepping my upper lip for a month-long moustache growth marathon and awaiting your donations—which will be inspired by my ‘stache but will benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation and Lance Armstrong Foundation.

Should I ‘stache it up this Movember?
It’s no secret that I grow some mean facial hair. But what you may be less aware of, dear readers, is the yearly custom of growing a moustache to promote men’s health awareness that rolls around each November. Entitled Movember, this month-long growing of upper lip hair is a full-fledged and actual event that you can learn more about by visiting the Movember Foundation’s Web site. This year, I’m thinking about participating.

Taking the PoP! Quiz
Way back at Chicago Comic-Con, the good fellows from Panels On Page asked me to step in front of the camera and complete their PoP! Quiz. Hosted by mic master Jason Kerouac, I fielded a series of semi-ridiculous questions about comics and the convention while attempting to be professional and hilarious in my haggard state at the end of the weekend. Though only a few of my responses made the final cut, it was a blast to participate and even more exciting to see it cut together all pretty-lookin’ thanks to my man Jason “K-Nice” Knize.
Alright, alright, on to the video… Continue Reading “Taking the PoP! Quiz”
All Day Pizza Buffet: Fight!
Yesterday, I was informed by Josh Wigler (aka J.D. Wigglesmith aka Jarsh Wiggleheimer) that he and Kevin Mahadeo (aka Kevin Mahoodoo: Master of Voodoo) were discussing who would win in a fight: The two of them or me. The stipulations, as they were explained to me, were that Josh would be armed with a pistol and Kevin would have a knife. I would be between the two of them, unarmed. Though Wigler and Mahadeo both agreed I would win this hypothetical fight—and I provided a few fairly graphic play-by-plays of how I would triumph—I figured a cartoon representation of how mismatched a brawl it would be might further solidify the results of Monday’s discussions.
