Interwebz Hodgepodge Post: November Edition
I’ve been piling up a series of tabs in my web browser full of links and videos I’ve seen online recently that made me think, “I should link to that on my blog.” I was hoping some sort of pattern would arise in these interweb nuggets so that linking them would seem natural and well thought out. It hasn’t, so I’m stealing a page out of the Kiel Phegley and/or TJ Dietsch playbook o’ blogging and doing hodgepodge post of crammed to busting with links.

Movember Moustache Movie Marathon
If you’ve been frequenting this blog, you know that come November I’ll be growing a moustache for a charity called the Movember Campaign. The funds of the Movember Campaign go towards helping raise awareness of men’s health, specifically prostate and testicular cancer—a great cause. If that’s all you need to hear to donate, please head here and do so—it’s very much appreciated! If you’d like a bit more info typed up in lovely Jim Gibbons prose, head here and here. However, I’d remiss if I didn’t take advantage of the hard work put into the Movember Campaign by their PR and Marketing teams, and so, I’m posting a bunch of videos I’ve been sent by the good folks at Movember in hopes you’ll enjoy them and decide to donate a little cash to the cause.

The only peanut I may actually love
I saw this on Drawn! Illustration & Cartoon Blog and was all ready to fire up a whole post about how I’d seen too many peanut-friendly things on the interwebs this week. Then I watched this adorable video and I believe I have discovered the only deadly peanut I may actually be able to endorse…

Taking the PoP! Quiz
Way back at Chicago Comic-Con, the good fellows from Panels On Page asked me to step in front of the camera and complete their PoP! Quiz. Hosted by mic master Jason Kerouac, I fielded a series of semi-ridiculous questions about comics and the convention while attempting to be professional and hilarious in my haggard state at the end of the weekend. Though only a few of my responses made the final cut, it was a blast to participate and even more exciting to see it cut together all pretty-lookin’ thanks to my man Jason “K-Nice” Knize.
Alright, alright, on to the video… Continue Reading “Taking the PoP! Quiz”
My UFragTV interview on YouTube!
Sadly, it seems some camera problems kept the first—and larger—portion of my interview from being recorded, but the fantastic folks at UFrag took the time to pop up a YouTube video of their footage featuring me. Thanks guys!

Another undisputed classic: ‘George Washington.’ And, a story from times past!
Today’s blog theme is apparently sharing my favorite YouTube videos with the masses, but what better way to recapture sitting around with some buddies on laptops drinking beers and perusing the interwebs?! By the way, if you haven’t ever partaken in a night of casual drunkenness and online laughter, you should! In fact, I have a story about that which I’ll recount after the video and after the jump, so read on!

An undisputed classic: ‘Adventure Time’
Once a cartoon show pitched to Nickelodeon, “Adventure Time” is one of my all-time favorite internet videos. Running only seven and a half minutes, it’s fun and hilarious. If you don’t like this, you may actually be soulless.

One slap-happy remix
I don’t like to make a habit of posting videos here without some sort of interesting and detailed post to explain them, but I saw this on guilty pleasure celeb gossip blog dlisted (I’ll explain why I even check that site in an upcoming post) and it was too damn catchy and amuse not to post here.
And now, I want a mutha luvin’ Slap Chop! I want it bad…real bad.
